IMPROVING CONSISTENCY IN SHOE CLASSIFICATION
Often retailers tend to misclassify their products into a category. For example, ‘sandals’ can be mixed with ‘flip flops’ or ‘derby shoes’ can be mixed with ‘oxford shoes’. In some occasions an extra category is created under a generic name such as ‘shoe’ where all ‘unknown’ to the retailer footwear is placed.
