MEET ELSE CORP IN SHANGHAI, POWERED BY iSTARTER

ELSE Corp participated in the iStarter event “Made in Italy 2.0.2.0. Shanghai Edition” to present its business model of technology driven innovation for the fashion industry.

iStarter, anItalian start-up accelerator, hosted the Second Chinese Edition of “Made in Italy 2.0.2.0.” that took place from June 11thto June 14th. The occasion intended to give Chinese Institutional Investors selective access to the most encouraging new businesses from Italy, looking to enter the Chinese market or sell their items with nearby speculators in China. The event was a joint effort with AngelVest, Asian's most dynamic global investment group, The Consulate General of Italy in Shanghai, The European Chamber of Commerce in China (EUCCC) and the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, the Shanghai Technology Innovation Centre, the biggest financial trade centre in China and InnoSpace, the futuristic space and consulting community for the early stage Startups.

Made in Italy 2.0.2.0 had provided several opportunities for different start-ups such as a room to networking with investors and business angels from Asia and Europe, a series of One to One meetings with investors based on their shared common interests,and a Panel session with investors and business entrepreneurs that furnished a deep overview on the successful fund raising in China and China’s interest for foreign startups. The event included also an on-stage pitch representing  five Italian great scale-ups for Information Technology (AI, IoT, smart appliances), Robotics (AI, machine learning) and Financial Technology (FinTech). During the pitch, Andrey Golub, ELSE Corp’s CEO, presented the “Virtual Retail” services that aims to accelerate the transformation of the industry towards a personalized, direct to consumer, customer-pull approach, enhancing the customer’s virtual shopping experience and optimizing the Virtual Retail value and service delivery chain.

After the Startup Village Eventin Skolkovo, Russia, the participation at “Made in Italy 2.0.2.0.”was the second stop of the ELSE Corp “18.000 km in 3 Weeks”  effort to  promote their services and business model. The third and last stage of the operation will be in New York from June 19thto June 20thwhere ELSE Corp will attend the Supply Chain, Innovation, Technology 2019 conference: the global summit that brings together buyers and builders of  supply chain to discuss  the opportunities, the problems and new technologies that could be applied to make a future-ready global supply chain.
